Autograph Anniversary
Autograph Creative launched in
April 2008 as a design start-up
in challenging times, but since it's
inception, staying busy has been
anything but challenging. In our first
first year of operations, we've
developed designs and art directed
campaigns for high-profile companies
including adidas, Guglielmo Winery
and Making Of.
To help celebrate our first year of
success, we've partnered up with
AIGA's SF Design Week and
Bar Kitty's in Emeryville.
To RSVP to the event please

AIGA SF Design Week
To bridge the gap between business
and design, AIGA San Francisco will
present a lunch-time seminar that will
explore how design thinking can help
your company reach its goals.
Design thinking has been defined as
a process for practical, creative
resolution of problems or issues that
looks for an improved future result.
Unlike analytical thinking, design
thinking is a creative process based
around the building up of ideas.
We've been asked to join the panel
to discuss design strategy. To register
please follow the link provided.
AIGA: Design Thinking
Interview with Dwell Magazine
Dwell: You founded Autograph a year ago.
What were you both doing before that?
Donerik Dela Cruz: I was running my own
freelance firm in San Francisco. It was
predominantly graphic design work for
print and the web. I met Aaron when
I hired him on for a project I was doing.
Aaron Pou: I had been living in New York
since 2001 working at several cool little
boutique design agencies but then moved
to San Francisco and was working at
a studio in the Mission when Donny
contacted me. It was for a project for
adidas called Grün, which is German for
"green." The concept was focused on
Earth-friendly style and their products
that were made from recycled materials.

are away from the studio, so we created
a bespoke set of pencils.
